The Power of One
“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing [themselves].” ~ Leo Tolstoy
You may feel like a small part of a larger system but never underestimate your power. Every cog is important and powerful. Every individual plays a crucial role. As Forbes (2021) noted, even one small cog matters—if it fails, the entire process falters.
If we want better systems, stronger teams, and healthier cultures, the work starts within. Real change doesn’t begin “out there”—it begins with the individual choosing to show up differently, with intention.
It starts with belief. If you don’t believe in your own value and potential, no one else will feel it either.
True leaders take responsibility to connect, guide, and inspire—leading by example and committing to continuous growth.
What are you doing to improve yourself so you can help change the system for the better?
Keep believing in yourself.
