Betwixt and Between: Goodwill to All

Betwixt and Between: Goodwill to All

We’ve entered “Twixmas” — the in-between time between Christmas and New Year. Work slows, routines loosen, and time feels a little blurred. It’s a natural pause between the rush of what’s just been and the anticipation of what’s ahead.

For many, this season holds deep meaning — a time for light, reflection, and renewal. For some, Christmas marks the birth of hope and a call toward peace and goodwill. For others, the meaning shows up in quieter ways: shared meals, glowing lights, generosity, and the sense that something new is waiting to begin.

Wherever you land, this season invites us to slow down and notice one another. In the workplace, that can mean extending patience, offering thanks, recognizing effort, or simply showing kindness in small, everyday ways. These moments matter more than we often realize.

As the calendar turns, the New Year gives us a chance to reset — to carry forward what’s working, let go of what isn’t, and step into the next chapter with intention. It’s a good moment to reflect on how we want to show up for our work, our colleagues, and ourselves.

Between Christmas and New Year, we live in a rare kind of “in-between time,” shaped more by reflection than schedules. It’s a gentle bridge between gratitude and possibility.

How ever you spend these days — resting, gathering, reflecting, or easing back into work — may they bring you peace. And as we move into the year ahead, may we continue to lead with kindness, respect, and goodwill toward one another.

Wishing you a blessed and meaningful Christmas and a New Year filled with clarity, compassion, and hope.

With gratitude,

Jeff
